Tradewind Provides $4 Million Export Factoring Facility to Fabric and Home Textiles Company based in Pakistan

Tradewind has announced a $4 million post shipment finance facility for a manufacturer and exporter of fabric, home textiles, and apparel based in Pakistan. The company mainly sells to buyers in the USA and Europe and is using Tradewind’s funding to support its increasing sales on open account terms.

The client, who has worked with Tradewind previously, approached the trade finance firm again when its buyers started to request longer credit terms. Aware that waiting longer for its buyers to pay could negatively impact its cash flow and potentially hurdle it into a liquidity crisis, the client turned to Tradewind not only for quick funding that improved its working capital position but also for the credit protection it provided in the case of buyer insolvency as well as its collections services.

Tradewind’s Pakistan office organized the financing arrangement and offered local support to supplement the company’s flexible solutions and international capabilities.

With more liquidity on hand, the client plans to further penetrate the international market and better target potential customers.

“We are glad to offer a cash flow solution that satisfies not only the client’s, but also its buyers’, needs. Tradewind Pakistan has been recognized as a pioneer in factoring services in the region and is happy to see that their client is meeting the rising demand to conduct business on open account terms with their help,” states Rafi-ul-Hasan, Managing Director of Tradewind Pakistan.
