The summit gathered factoring companies, senior banking executives, and trade marketplace providers both from inside and outside of India and also welcomed various Indian government officials. As a longtime member of FCI, the global representative body for factoring, Tradewind took the opportunity to network with industry leaders at the event, exchange market insights and trends, and explore partnerships where a two-factor system is required in import-export transactions.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-26523\" src=\"http:\/\/tradewind-finance.s3.amazonaws.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/07101953\/37978-25.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1170\" height=\"780\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Peter Mulroy, Secretary General at FCI, and Neal Harm, FCI\u2019s Deputy Secretary General, delivered the summit\u2019s opening remarks, which were followed by panel discussions and talks on topics including, \u2018Risk Mitigation Tools of Trade Receivables\u2019, \u2018Best Practices\u2019 across different markets, \u2018The Importance of incorporating ESG in Supply Chain Finance\u2019, and \u2018The experience of implementing a state-of-the-art receivables application in India\u2019. Furthermore, the summit educated local and regional players on developments and industry updates taking place in India.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-26533\" src=\"http:\/\/tradewind-finance.s3.amazonaws.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/07102010\/37986-33.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1170\" height=\"780\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Attending the event from the Tradewind team were Peter Maerevoet, CEO Asia; Soheil Zali, Regional CEO Middle East and South Asia; Ragi Naveen, Regional Credit &amp; Risk Director &#8211; Middle East and South Asia; and Shreejita Seth, Marketing Manager at the firm.<\/p>\n<p>Through the summit, Tradewind was able to strengthen its commitment of providing informed cross-border receivable finance for India\u2019s growing businesses, as well as for importers and exporters in other markets around the globe.
