  • Maintain a strong understanding of and adherence to IFRS standards in all accounting practices and financial reporting, including preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Lead engagements with auditors and regulatory authorities, ensuring clear financial reporting and fulfilment of statutory audit obligations.
  • Manage and oversee transfer pricing compliance for the Sharjah entity.
  • Preparing and filing VAT and corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations and deadlines.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of balance sheet schedules related to VAT and corporate tax to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Provide financial forecasts and ROI analyses to support business development and strategic decision-making.
  • Liaising with foreign affiliates & branches of the group.
  • Localise and adapt the group’s cost management system to align with regional requirements and operational needs.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define financial goals, develop strategies, and support long-term organizational growth.
  • Prepare annual budget, planning and forecast and ensure ongoing budget monitoring.
  • To maintain proper record of all transactions of the company, mainly payments, receipts.
  • To evaluate existing financial processes and introduce enhancements in order to improve controls where needed and re-organisation of processes within accounting to ensure operational excellence within the department.
  • To ensure that the company’s IT needs are identified and met.
  • To provide proper financial input towards helping the Group management take sound business.

  • Proactive, team player with a straightforward approach.

  • Inter-personal skills that enable you to communicate efficiently at all levels of the Tradewind Group.

Experience

  • Strong demonstrable working knowledge of IFRS is mandatory.
  • Any experience in other international accounting standards is a plus.

Languages

  • Excellent skills in spoken and written English. Skills in German language is desirable, but not mandatory.
