DS-Concept Co-Sponsors 5th Annual Sourcing Journal Summit in New York

DS-Concept was a proud sponsor of the fifth annual Sourcing Journal Summit, an event hosted by the eponymous publication to gather sourcing executives, supply chain executives, factories, mills, and large buyers within the apparel and textile industry, the readership the publication serves. The event took place on October 17 at Espace in New York City, and DS-Concept was in attendance alongside some of its clients.

DS-Concept has its roots working with SMEs in the textile and apparel industry, and has continued to serve its clients in the drastically changing retail space of today. While supply chain demands are calibrating to new consumer preferences and behaviors, a topic discussed at the event, DS-Concept is able to service its clients with readily available cash flow and can finance importers and exporters globally.

Tying in with the “Data, Analytics, and Tech Innovations Shaping the Next Generation of Sourcing” segment of the summit, our partnership with GT Nexus, the cloud-based supply chain management platform, has enabled us to leverage the platform’s historical sales data to better assess our client’s needs and provide faster funding with higher advance rates. These tailor-made solutions, coupled with DS-Concept’s international presence and resources as well as its deep understanding of the industry, are crucial in the fast-paced retail world, particularly when banks are slower to finance and carry more restrictions.

In addition to its cash flow solutions, DS-Concept provides credit protection and collections for its clients, so companies limit their exposure and are able to focus more on their next competitive move. While some SMEs may regard disruption in the retail landscape as a threat, those with strong financial partners like DS-Concept can survive and innovate with the times.

The majority of our clients are located in Turkey, China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India and export to the U.S., Europe and the Middle East. We finance sales to many brands including Gap, Ralph Lauren, H&M, Dockers, Target, Levi’s, Inditex, C&A, New Yorker, Pepe Jeans, Debenhams, Arcadia Group, Urban Outfitters, Express and more. Although we have diversified our business portfolio since our beginnings, the textile and apparel industry is still a strong fabric of who we are, and we intend to keep up and grow alongside our clients as they charter this new and challenging retail environment.
